What should sellers do when they receive an EPR notification from Alibaba?
1. Determine whether the goods in question involve EPR.
Packaging laws apply to almost all goods, and merchants need to determine whether other EPR categories are involved based on the type of goods being sold.
2、Statistics on the number and types of commodities requiring EPR registration and declaration.
Merchants are required to keep statistics on the amount of goods sold to Germany and France respectively, and to identify the type of EPR involved in each item.
Regardless of whether the trader is a producer, if the trader sends the applicable goods for sale in France, the trader is required to report to the corresponding producer responsibility organization (PRO) the sales volume of the category of EPR goods sold by the trader during the required reporting period.
