According to the EU EPR requirements, Germany has to register EPR before selling, otherwise it is impossible to sell, and sellers who sell to France and Spain without registering EPR will be deducted and paid by the platform. Sellers who sell to France and Spain without registering EPR will be withheld and paid by the platform. Sellers are advised to register and upload France and Spain EPR as soon as possible, and it is best for them to do it by themselves and upload the registration number to the TEMU backend before December this year, as the platform will need to set aside time for the review.
Currently, the TEMU withholding bill has been generated, but has not yet begun to be deducted, and it is estimated that the withholding and payment of the relevant fees will begin on December 1st.
If sellers do not want to be withheld and paid by the Platform, please register as soon as possible and upload the relevant registration number for verification by the Platform.

How do I know if I need to register for EPR?
Currently, EPR compliance is mandatory in Germany, France and Spain. The concept of EPR compliance of TEMU platform is basically the same as that of e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Sizzle, eBay, etc. At present, as long as your products are sold to Germany, France and Spain, you have to register for EPR.
Generally, any one of the following three situations will be recognized as fulfilling the EPR obligation:
Manufacturers in Germany, France, and Spain need goods that meet extended producer responsibility requirements;
Importers in Germany, France and Spain need goods that meet the extended producer responsibility requirements;
Sellers in Germany, France, and Spain need goods that meet the extended producer responsibility requirements and are not incorporated in Germany, France, and Spain.
Sellers on platforms like Amazon, Temu, and Sizzler all fall into the third category.

How to Upload EPR Registration Number in Temu
After you get the corresponding registration number, please upload it to the TEMU platform in time for the platform to verify, the specific operation steps are as follows:
1. Log in to your account management page and click on "Account Details";
2. On the main details page, click "Producer Responsibility Qualifications";
3. Click "Add Registration Number";
4. Select the country/region you want to add, and then select the type of qualification.
