Sellers selling products on eBay Germany are required to comply with Germany's Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations, which include the German Packaging Act and the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE Directive) as implemented by the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG).
Compliance Requirements
- Packaging::
- Dual System License: Dual system licensing for packaging.
- LUCID Registration: Register in the LUCID system in the Central Package Registry and obtain a Lucid number.
- Package Quantity Report: Report package quantities to the Dual System License Provider and the LUCID system.
- WEEE Act::
- Obtain a WEEE number and register.
Submit Lucid number to eBay
- Go to the eBay Accounts section of My eBay.
- Select "Business Information" under "Personal Information and Privacy".
- In the "Business Details" section click on "Lucid ID" next to "Add".
- Enter your Lucid ID and click "Save".
