Required information for FDA registration of pet food in the U.S.
The following information is required when applying for FDA approval:
- Business License
- Fill out the FDA registration application form
- Dun & Bradstreet Code Request Form (Dun & Bradstreet code required to use FDA)
- Seal of the Dun & Bradstreet Authorization Letter
Once the information is fully prepared, you can apply for FDA certification (registration) for food exports to the United States.

FDA Qualification Upload Compliance Guidelines
Note on the physical picture:
- Take clear photos of the product in a real environment.
- Labeling information and the actual picture should appear in the same photo and be clearly visible.
- Photograph clear product labeling information, including but not limited to: product name, manufacturer's name, and manufacturer's address.
- The information on the bag and the information on the adhesive label must be identical.
Note on qualification certificates:
- Qualifications are proof of FDA registration and must be included:
- Registration Number (11-digit Number)
- Manufacturer's name and address
- Within the validity period of certificate registration
- Certificate must be signed/stamped
- The product information in the physical drawing should be consistent with the information in the datasheet, e.g., manufacturer's name and address.
