Green Circle said cross-border] Note! Amazon: sellers are required to provide country of origin / place of origin (COO) information for their products.

Recently, the green circle assistant received a lot of cross-border seller friends feedback, said: "Amazon requires sellers to provide country of origin (COO) information for their products?"
Yes, that's right, Amazon has made an announcement that in order to improve the quality of Amazon product information and to ensure smooth passage of FBA export orders through the UK/EU border, after August 22nd, the provision of Country of Origin (COO) information will become a mandatory requirement.

EXISTING ITEMS: Existing listings will not be edited until COO information is provided.
02
What is Country of Origin (COO)?
The Country of Origin (COO) rules require businesses to indicate the COO of their goods for customs clearance purposes. After the end of the Brexit transition period, all EU companies exporting to the UK and UK companies exporting to the EU will be required to provide COO information.
If the goods are obtained or manufactured exclusively in a country/region, then that country/region is the country/place of origin of the goods.
If multiple countries are involved in the production or manufacture of a good, the country/place of origin is the place where the last "substantial transformation" of the good took place.

In fact, before this, the Indian government has issued a warning to Amazon India, saying that sellers on its platform do not specify the requirement of country of origin (COO) of products, so this time, Amazon's mandatory requirement to provide country of origin (COO) information for products is also expected.
I believe that most sellers engaged in cross-border e-commerce have a deep understanding of the requirements of the Amazon platform to continuously improve the "New Products" tool, these improvements include the details page to improve the quality and consistency of the listing, so that sellers can better describe the goods, so that buyers are more assured that more informed purchases, and to promote sellers to increase the conversion rate. Conversion rates.
