As I'm sure many sellers who sell electronics to Germany know, the EAR makes certain adjustments to official fees every year, and 2024 is no exception.
Compared to 2022, the official fees for 2023 have increased by approximately 1,000 RMB. At the end of 2023, the EAR again announced a revision of the official fees for 2024. This time, the fees will be adjusted mainly for the German WEEE account management fee, the annual warranty audit fee, and the German battery judge fee.

The fee is payable for as long as the WEEE is registered, or as long as a WEEE registration number is in place, until the WEEE registration number is canceled.
The management fee for the registration number is paid on a per-number basis and has nothing to do with the number of categories and brands, i.e. one registration number pays one management fee.

Summarizing the above, the 2024 Official Fee Adjustments are summarized below (before taxes):
*New registration fees have increased by a total of 85.4 euros, or about 667 yuan.
*The increase in renewal fee is only €81.9, which is equivalent to about RMB 640.
It should be noted that, whether it is a previously registered German WEEE renewal 2024, or a new registration 2024 German WEEE, are affected by this official fee adjustment, if the seller does not pay this fee, the German authorized representative will be registered under the number of your account on April 1, 2024 onwards for the cancellation of the processing.
