What has been my greatest success on Amazon? Focusing on a single product rather than generalizing a topic. Why? Because Amazon consumers usually see your videos when they visit a specific product page.

So what kind of content is most effective? First and foremost, the key is to actually show the product in the video. Consumers want to be able to see and understand the product, and a low quality video will undermine buyer confidence. Secondly, don't waste your customer's time by answering any questions they may have in a concise and powerful way, and make sure the video is just the right length.

You can even try a variety of different types of product reviews: unboxing, full product reviews, short clips on specific features, and buying guides comparing two or more similar products are the types of content I've found to be most successful. Don't limit yourself to a single format, try different approaches and see what your customers like best.

I usually prioritize the content of popular products on Amazon, such as checking out the top sellers list, total number of reviews, and items marked as "Best Sellers" or "Amazon's Choice". I've even repurposed videos from a few years ago and found that some of them have generated more revenue on Amazon in a few months than on other platforms!

Even more importantly, no matter what type of content you produce, it's vital that you are honest and upfront in your product evaluations. If a customer ends up returning a product, your sales revenue will be reversed, so it's important to make sure they get the right information from you.
